Spotify to InShot: How to Import Music to InShot

InShot Editor is a popular photo and video editing program, dedicated to helping users enhance their videos before sharing to their social platforms. This free app has lots of features. For example, you can trim the clips, change your footage speed, add filters, text, or background music to your video.

Have you ever tried to add Spotify music to InShot, but failed? No worries. In this post, I'll show you why you can't directly import music from Spotify and how will you do that. Just keep on reading.

Part 1. Why we can't import Spotify to InShot directly?

The music from Spotify is protected by digital rights management and cannot be transferred to other devices. Spotify encrypts its files in the OGG Vorbis format to prevent unauthorized access. All the Spotify songs, playlists, albums, artists, etc. can only be played within the Spotify app. That's why you can't import music from Spotify to InShot directly.

Part 2. How to add Spotify music to InShot

There are lots of third-party software available on the market that can download and convert Spotify music for applying to other places.

Step 1: Add Spotify playlist to Tunelf

Step 2: Choose output format

Next, click on the Music option then hit the Add music option to choose music from the converted music folder. This will import Spotify music to InShot on your phone.
On your phone, open the InShot app and create a new video, you can now edit, trim, cut, and merge videos for a superb finish.
